Subject: Cell tower Amity and Eagle Rd
We are opposed to the cell tower on Amity and Eagle Road for the following reason:
Cell towers aren't allowed in residential zones without one. This site is zoned MDR, Medium Density Residential-- and the
City's Code, or UDC, is quite clear:
to “Protect existing residential uses.”
There is new and better technology for cell transmissions in neighborhoods--see yesterday's Idaho Statesman's front
page for an article about small, unobtrusive cell transmitters that mount to light poles.

Cell tower on Amity and Eagle Rd
Message:
We oppose the H-2018-0087, the proposed cell tower in an R-8 zone, especially given there is already a tower 1
mile west on the corner of Amity and Locust Grove. It would be better placed on higher ground along Lake Hazel
in a regional park amidst a grove of trees so that it is better camouflaged like the one on Amity and Lake Hazel.
