Hi Sonya,
I received the request for City Council review on the Villasport project. In the application item 5 refers to the
requirement to work with ACHD to create a crosswalk for pedestrians from the west parking lot. I just wanted to let you
know that Tamara did give me a call and we had a chance to discuss. I briefly mentioned it in my report but section 4.2.d
discusses the crossing (sadly split between page 7&8). Our engineers didn’t support the mid-block crossing and feel that
the 2 existing crossings (Ustick & Picard) would suffice. I mainly just wanted to make you aware, if you need anything
else from me to assist on this one, please let me know.
