Marilyn CoxThis is in response to the Public Hearing at Meridian City Hall H-2018-
0130, for the purpose of Reviewing and Considering the Application for
Razzberry Villas Subdivision. This property should remain in the L -O
Zoning District.
live at 1565 E Star Drive and am opposed to the density on the 1.86
acres. You are considering 16 Building lots, and 4 common lots which
will create a traffic nightmare. Each unit will have approximately 2 cars
which will equate to 32 more vehicles entering onto Locust Grove and
that many more turning onto E Star Drive from Locust Grove.
At the present time there is traffic backed up past the school on Locust
Grove. There were cars parked along E Star Dr due to the Ashley Manor
office. Lately they haven't parked there but No Parking signs are
posted on the street this poses a danger when cars park on E Star Dr
because 2 cars can't pass safely.
Many of us are concerned about our property values because Razzberry
Subdivision owners have had non -working automobiles parked in there
driveway or on the street. Some have had flat tires and have remained
in the same place for many weeks. They park on both sides of the
street which means there is a single lane down the middle of the road.
That makes it almost impossible for emergency vehicles to respond to
emergencies.
Please reconsider approving the Rezoning to R-15. I watch the traffic in
the morning and afternoon because my office is in the front bedroom
and traffic gets backed up on Star Dr and Locust Grove.
