Hi Josh,
I appreciate you getting this on over to me. I do have a question though, has anything else been submitted aside
from the annexation and rezone? The traffic impact study was submitted back in March, however the only
application I have was for the annexation and rezoning of the property H-2017-0142 (looks like the memorandum
may have the wrong file number on it, FYI).
Anyway, if it is just for the annexation and rezoning we can't make requirements, ACHD policy prohibits us from
placing requirements on a project generating less than 10 additional vehicle trips per day. All I can do is list policy
that is expected to be met when the CZC/DES applications come in. I can provide commentary on their concept site
plan, however my existing report already spells out our policy, so I don't have any revisions.
Commentary wise, I like the reduced number of driveways on Venable, however the driveway location completely
disregarded our driveway spacing policy. In letter states that a driveway should either align with the existing
driveways on the west side of Venable or offset by a minimum of 245 -feet, our standard policy. The driveway shown
is roughly 145 -feet south of the existing driveway on Venable. I don't see why we would be open to a modification
when they have the frontage necessary to meet our policy.
Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to look over this one.

Austin, this is an application that was submitted at the end of last year. Our City Council continued the project for
about six months in order for the applicant to clean up some loose ends. We had it back before Council last week
and the project has changed considerably.
I wanted to make sure that ACHD had enough time and information to review. This will be back in front of our
Council on December 4th, so hopefully that is sufficient time to revise your staff report.
Please let me know if you need anything else from me.
