Subject:High Density Housing
To Whom It May Concern,
We are residents of Meridian owning two single family dwellings within the city. We are very concerned
about the amount of high density housing being built in our neighborhoods and the "threat" of more and
more apartment complexes. Why are we allowing this kind of development to take over our otherwise
pleasant surroundings? We are also concerned that zoning allows so many houses to be built in such a
small space. The lots are becoming way to small for the comfort of family life. Children should be able to
play in their own back yard and not have to go to a park to find a place to run.
It is hard to see how loading up the existing infrastructure is helping anyone. It is time to back up and
catch up instead of creating more problems.
