Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) has a pressurized mainline that runs around the
border of this proposed project. NMID requires a filed Land Use Change Application for review,
prior to final platting. For further information, please contact Elke Adams (208) 466-7861 at 1503
First Street South Nampa, ID 83651.
This mainline has a minimum easement of ten feet (10') total, five feet (5') from centerline
each direction. NMID will need to review plans before final plat approval, to see how our
facility will be affected.
This easement must be protected. Any encroachment without a signed License
Agreement and approved plan before construction is unacceptable.
All municipal surface drainage must be retained on site. If any municipal surface drainage
leaves the site, the NMID must review drainage plans. Developer must comply with Idaho
Code 31-3805

"rush" to -be- finalized,', I would recommend that you submit a cashier's check, money order
or cash, as payment of the fees: in order to speed the process up. If you submit a company
or personal check:, it must clear the. bank before processing the application
Shouldthis development- be, planni ng a pressurized urban irrigation system that will be owned,
operated and maintained by the Irrigation District, I strongly urge you to coordinate with Greg G.
Curtis-, - Water. Superintendent for the Irrigation- District, concerning the installation of the
pressuresystem. Enclosed is a questionnaire that you -must fill out and return in order to initiate
the process of contractual- agreements- between the owner or developer and the Irrigation
District for the ownership, operation and maintenance of the pressure urban irrigation system.
