Subject:USTICK/LINDER PROPOSAL
To Whom it may Concern:
Please, for the benefit of our community, please do not rezone the corner of Ustick and Linder for the
proposed 96 apartment complex. I'm at a loss as to why we are cramming as much high density housing as
possible into our beautiful community when all of our schools are over crowded, classrooms are
overflowing, and there are not enough resources to meet the needs of our growing children.
Yes, we live in a very desireable area, but let's keep it that way by having safe and responsible development
instead of copping out to the highest bidder. Let's give local professionals and small businesses precedent to
enhance our city by providing much needed services in this area instead of high density housing. We live
with miles of undeveloped land that will undoubtedly be transformed into more subdivisions in the near
future. Let's keep this land zoned as originally planned to provide convenience and services for the residents
of Meridian.
