Verraso started as a 64 unit intriguing mid rise development. After the public hearing and input
from the commissioners, we went back to the drawing board to revitalize our design and to
better comply and exceed the Meridian standards. After all, we have the legacy of Verraso that
we are building upon. We trimmed down the 64 units to 56, increased open recreational space,
and added additional parking which far exceeds the standard with a whopping 30 extra spaces,
plus giving each home 2 spaces each. We added a dog park complete with a grooming center.
The major improvement was adding an additional veranda amenity that broke up the monotony
of our design and improved an already rich architectural concept. The new focus was less is
more, so less became better. The target became lifestyle and the focal point was an incredible
courtyard plaza adorned with immense landscaping and prolific fountains that create a “zen” like
atmosphere. The unit mix of 56— 2-bedroom homes will be achieved with only 2 floors above
the covered parking garage. This practical approach conforms to the surrounding area and fits
seamless with our neighbors. Two floors of residential living will provide outstanding 360
degree views and “right sizing” was responsible development and will provide a smaller footprint
thus achieving more open space. As mentioned this is the fourth phase of the much talked
about Verraso Village on Records Avenue and consists of 1.698 acres with an abundant amount
of open space. Each residence, almost 1200 square feet, is all stucco with either cement/wood
siding and metal enhancements. The architectural lines are articulated and varied. There are
several textures and colors creating a unique, organic structure. This final phase comes alive
as it takes it’s rightful place as a befitting capstone to this amazing project.
