Dear Mayor and City Council Members:
On behalf of the owners, Bling LLC and Gor For It LLC, please accept this letter requesting .
Reconsideration of the City Council's Denial of the Tanner Creek Subdivision on August 21,
2018 with Findings adopted on September 11, 2018.
We believe testimony provided by the Meridian Police Department that Waltman Lane is
"unsafe" correctly speaks to the current condition of Waltman Lane. However, the testimony
may have been misinterpreted by Council to describe the developed condition of Waltman
Lane after the improvements to both Waltman Lane and Corporate Drive required with the
development of the Tanner Creek Subdivision by the Ada County Highway District.
We are requesting reconsideration of the applications for Tanner Creek Subdivision to present
the detailed concept roadway plans and technical justifications, as supported and approved by
the Ada County Highway District, for both roadway alignments and their connections to
Meridian Road, to demonstrate how they will provide safe pedestrian and vehicular access for
the proposed site and surrounding neighborhoods during four proposed phases of the Tanner
Creek Subdivision development.
