Sonya and Caleb,
As I am sure you saw in the news we had a productive meeting with the community. I estimate that there were
approximately 40 people there (we have signup sheets). Needless to say, we heard a lot of ideas and we are
trying to condense these into a meaningful response. In the time remaining between now and our scheduled
Council meeting (September 11) there is a lot to get done and dialog to be had. In speaking with the
community both the community and our design team thought that going before the council on September 11
would be premature and rush the process we have started. The prefered schedule is that on September 11
Costco and the community would meet again to review more fully developed design concepts. We would then
hope to be in a position to present the joint effort to the council in early to mid October (either October 9 or 16
would work from our perspective). I hope this proposed schedule schedule revision works for you and the
Council. Let me know if you have any questions, concerns and if this revised schedule is acceptable to the
Council. Thank You.
