CC - 2018-09-11 Meridian PressNOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of the City of Meridian and the Laws of the State of Idaho that the City Council of the City of Meridian will hold a Special Meeting at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, at the hour of 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 for the purpose of reviewing and considering the application of: Costco Wholesale for Modification to the Development Agreement to include the conceptual building elevations for the Costco Wholesale Store (H-2018-0066) generally located at the southwest corner of W. Chinden Blvd./S.H. 20/26 and N. Ten Mile Rd. Costco Wholesale has requested that City Council continue this item to their October 16, 2018 Regular Meeting. Costco Wholesale will instead hold a neighborhood meeting on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at a time and location to be determined in order to review more fully developed design concepts. Costco Wholesale will notify neighbors about that meeting. City Council will still open the Special Meeting on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 only for the purpose of continuing the public hearing to October 16, 2018. While you will still see a published agenda for September 11, 2018, no public testimony will be taken. Copies of the above applications are available for review upon request. Any interested persons shall be heard at said public hearing. Oral testimony may be limited to three (3) minutes per person. Written testimony may be submitted prior to the hearing, either in person or via U.S. Mail, to Meridian City Clerk, 33 E. Broadway Suite 104, Meridian, Idaho 83642, or by email to cityclerk@meridiancity.org. Persons interested in being heard regarding the above applications should plan to submit written testimony or testify at the hearing. All written testimony and all materials presented at the hearing shall become property of the City of Meridian and public records subject to the provisions of the Idaho Public Records Act.
