Hi Tom,
Nice to hear from you. Your inquiries touch on both processed (Costco)and open (WinCo) applications, as
well as to my knowledge a non existent application (Home Depot)
The Costco application has been approved, pending council approval of the building. There was a neighbor
meeting last night and their representative should be back in front of council in about a month.
The Linder Village project is still an open application, there is nothing new to share since they were before
the council last winter/spring. Because this is still an open application I’m prohibited from speaking about it
while not on the record.
As mentioned, I’m not aware of a development that includes a Home Depot, but I also try to keep my nose
out of potential developments for fear of spoiling any announcements. You are welcome to contact the
planning department for additional info if needed. We have great staff that are happy to help.
As an FYI, I’ve cc’d the city clerk should this email need to be added to the record for either of the current
development applications.
As alway, it’s great to hear from you Tom. My oldest is 11 and has been playing football at Settlers for 6
years, and we make it a point to never park along Ashby :)
