I personally would love to see Costco built ASAP. They have bowed down to the residents enough times, no matter
what they come up with they are not going to be happy. That’s how they operate. I think they are hoping that
Costco will get frustrated with their ridiculous demands and bow out completely. I have a feeling that’s why Winco
backed out of the site on Overland. We are going through the same stuff with Linder Village. There are people that
don’t have anything else to do with their time so they try to make others lives miserable. First it was the traffic, now
its the color and design of their building. Costco’s throughout the country have a very similar look and they want
them to make an exception because they are Meridian, Idaho! These projects have gone far enough, they have
been approved, do what the majority of the residents want and let them build. I am a resident of Paramount am
actually embarrassed for our city for what these people are putting these developers through. Thanks.

I would also like to express my support for City Council member Ty Palmer. His comments in the Meridian Press
were spot on. “This is not a piece of property the neighbors own. It just blows my mind that this is an inappropriate
design.” Ty, it blows my mind also. There was also a quote from a letter written to the Council that is hilarious to
say the least. “Please tell Costco that Meridian deserves a better design.” Seriously? Sounds like some people think
they are better and more important than they really are.
