Project Number
Development Aareement Modification Submittal for new Costco Warehouse
The Lost Rapids Subdivision Development Agreement approved by the Meridian
City Council in March of 2018 required that Costco submit a Development
Agreement Modification to address the design of the proposed Costco building.
Subsequently Costco's design team has worked with city staff come up with a
building design that complies with the City's Architectural Standards and the
City Council. The attached materials describe the building design as well as
walk through our compliance with the Architectural Standards.
All the plans and information requested as part of the DAMod checklist have
been submitted to demonstrate compliance with code. These include but are not
limited to:
• Building Concepts and City feedback,
• Building Views and Elevations
• Architectural Standards Checklist and responses

Those design efforts are underway and the City has asked that a neighborhood meeting be held to provide
an opportunity for you to review the proposed elevations and design.
As a reminder, this is a neighborhood meeting intended only for discussion of the building design elements.
This is not a public hearing and public officials will not be present.
The meeting will be held on the date and time referenced above at the
Keith Bird Legacy Park picnic shelter. The park is located within the Bainbridge neighborhood at

COMMITMENT OF PROPERTY POSTING
Per Unified Development Code (UDC) 11 -5A -5D, the applicant for all applications requiring a
public hearing (except for a UDC text amendment, a Comprehensive Plan text amendment
and/or vacations) shall post the subject property not less than ten (10) days prior to the hearing.
The applicant shall post a copy of the public hearing notice of the application(s) on the property
under consideration.
The applicant shall submit proof of property posting in the form of a notarized statement and a
photograph of the posting to the City no later than seven (7) days prior to the public hearing
attesting to where and when the sign(s) were posted. Unless such Certificate is received by the
required date, the hearing will be continued.
The sign(s) shall be removed no later than three (3) days after the end of the public hearing for
which the sign(s) had been posted.
I am aware of the above requirements and will comply with the posting requirements as stated in
UDC 11-5A-5.
