My name is Margie Williams and I live at 1251 NW 4th st. I am writing in opposition to the
rezoning of the Cherry Blossom Subdivision.
I am against this because I would like to see the character of downtown Meridian preserved. This
area should remain for quality family homes, with yards big enough for children to play. This
historic area should be saved for nicer houses with decent lot sizes that families will want to
make their permanent homes. Small cramped lots with cookie cutter houses are entirely
incompatible with the character of the historic neighborhood.
