Subject:Cherry Blossom Subdivision Rezone
I am writing in opposition to the rezone request for the Cherry Blossom Subdivision. My Family lives at 1233 W 7th St.,
Meridian, ID 83642. My name is Keith Thurgood.
I oppose the rezone request for these reasons:
1. High density of homes does not fit with existing surrounding neighborhoods of Old Meridian, It would negatively alter
the look, feel, and living environment of this part of our community 2. Additional traffic flow being thrust upon our
neighborhoods and impact to residents and school children while walking to school. We live near the through walking
path from 7th St to the Middle School on 8th. This path is right where a proposed street from Cherry Blossom would
exit on 7th. Cars already line up here to drop children off to walk to scho ol. It is on a curve and the additional traffic will
create significant safety concerns for the children.
