Here's what they had to say: 2 Request for Mayor and Council Name Daniel Frisby _replyto frisby.daniel@gmail.com Street Address 5005 N. Arliss Ave. City Meridian State ID Zip Code 83646 Subject Costco at Ten Mile Rd. & Chinden Blvd. Message Dear Madam Mayor and Council Members, I would like to cast my name into the "supporting box" for this project. I live approximately 2 miles away from the proposed location in the Paramount Subdivision, and I have always wanted there to be more amenities in North Meridian. Having a Costco in Meridian will be a tremendous benefit to the vast majority of the citizens within this area. I also find it amazing that Costco is willing to put up millions and millions of dollars to widen 3 miles of Chinden Blvd., and 3/4 mile of Ten Mile Rd. to make t heir project function. There's no way Chinden would have been widened out to 5 lanes for this stretch of road without a private entity stepping in to help, being that the State doesn't have any money. I really appreciate the representative from Costco, Peter Kahn, and his willingness to adjust the morning delivery times for the Bainbridge/Spurwing residents so they can get their precious sleep (even with the dense landscaping Brighton is planning on putting in around the Costco to block the noise from the neighborhood). Because Costco doesn't open for business until 10:00, they won't be contributing to the Chinden congestion from the early-morning commuters. I'm really excited to see Meridian continuing to grow, especially with businesses closer to home instead of JUST new neighborhoods. Thank you very much for your consideration, hope to see some of you at the Meridian Costco food court. Daniel & Kelly Frisby This form was submitted at 10:00 PM UTC - 28 March 2018.
