Subject:We support the new Costco location
Dear meridian clerk,
We know you must receive plenty of emails in opposition to the new Costco location in Meridian, but
we just wanted to take a moment to voice our support and excitement to have a Costco so close and
convenient to us. My husband and I live in the Bridgetower neighborhood at ten mile and ustick and
we frequent Costco at least once a month. The new Costco at ten mile would be a welcome
convenience, saving us travel time. We hope that they city will be able to put some pressure on
ACHD to finish widening Ten mile all the way to Chinden. We understand Costco will help in some of
this work, but there remains a bottleneck between Ustick and McMillan that will need to be
addressed. We look forward to these improvements in the community!
