Message Dear City Council and Mayor Tammy de Weerd,
Just a quick note in support of the proposed Costco mixed-use project at Chinden/Ten
Mile that P&Z has now sent to you. I believe that this project will provide a
significant net benefit to Meridian and surrounding areas. Costco is a financially
strong company and this new location will provide good paying middle class jobs
with benefits that will have a positive affect on our community. Meridian continues
to grow at fast rates, and although a minority of residents push back against this
growth, the majority realize the importance of this ongoing growth for the economic
well-being of our community. As a resident of north-east meridian for just short of
the past 16 years, I've witnessed much growth and want to see it continue for the good
of everyone living in this wonderful area.
