RE: H-2018-0012 AZ, PP OBERG SUBDIVISION
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the annexation, zoning, and preliminary plat applications by
DevCo, LLC for Oberg Subdivision consisting of 25 single family residential lots, 3 common lots, and 1 other lot on a
parcel located at 2855 North Wingate Lane, west of SH-55 (N. Eagle Rd.) milepost 38.74. ITD has the following
comments:
1. This project does not abut the State highway system.
2. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway system.
3. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant can contact
Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section at 334-8832 for more
information.
4. The City is reminded that the SH-55 (N. Eagle Road) corridor is already congested. This project will
increase the number of vehicle trips in the corridor. As the City continues to add additional trips to the
corridor through development, the congestion will worsen until the roadway system ultimately is
overloaded and fails. ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic congestion in SH-55 (N.
Eagle Road) corridor in this area.
5. ITD does not object to the annexation, zoning, and preliminary plat applications for Oberg Subdivision as
presented.
