My Wife composed this letter representing both of us. I would like to echo my sentiments, especially
regarding the improvements in infrastructure. I live in Paramount and work in Meridian Just west of
the Eagle Island Fred Meyer. Traffic is an issue and Costco's contribution is a big step in the right
direction!

We moved to the Treasury Valley from the Yakima Valley in the summer of 2011 and we have lived in
the vicinity of Chinden and Linder intersection. We purchased a home in the Paramount subdivision in
2013. We have watched the rapid development on all sides and have really enjoyed the easy access
to retail, restaurants and entertainment. However, the infrastructure has not kept up with the rapid
growth. This has been a source of frustration for our family. We have really enjoyed being a part of
this community, but it is becoming difficult getting in and out.
Having Costco join our neighborhood is exciting, not just for their great retail, but for what they are
willing to contribute to our infrastructure. Please accept our endorsement of Costco building a retail
warehouse at the corner of 10 mile and Chinden as citizens and registered voters here in Meridian
Idaho.
