Message I would like let you know that I am a proponent for the Costco development.
Currently 3-4 times a month my family and I take a trip to Nampa to the Costco on
Midland, we usually we end up eating a meal there and frequently do more grocery or
other shopping. That money spent in Canyon/Nampa could be money spent in
Ada/Meridian.
I understand the concern about growth/traffic but that issue continues with or without
Costco. Transportation is an issue that needs to be solved and if we can't have
anymore growth before solving this issue than stop the subdivsion growth until then. I
understand that makes no sense because we know the growth would continue outside
of Meridian anyway and cost Meridian tax money. That is the same illogical
thinking stopping Costco from locating in Meridian, eventually they will move along
and possibly relocate in Canyon county and the residents of Meridian will continue to
drive to spend money elsewhere.

proposed.
