Message I am writing to let you know I and my wife are for APPROVING the Costco project
at 10 Mile and Chinden.
Please don't let some elitist that have moved in (and not worried about asking anyone
for that) and
trying to stop this well designed proposal.
Costco has done a great job with design and assistance for traffic control. This
project not only helps the growth remain controlled but stops a few more houses in
the area that will affect our schools.
I am not sure where these people were in the discussion for the Fred Meyer project ,
and the Mormon Temple on Linder were considered. they are just the "Not in my
back yard" group.
for them to want all of us in North meridian to drive to Cole Road or Nampa are
certainly only concerned about the traffic in their area. it is at lest a 10 mile trip to
either for us.
Being a "born and raised" Boisian I find it very hard to sit still when people move in
and try to run things because they have found their "happy place". I am glad they
found it, but it was GREAT with out them and all this growth I have seen in the last
55 years.
Please, Chinden needs improved! that is a no brainer. ACHD is not to quick on the
approval to get this done. so, growth is going to happen anyway, PLEASE LET THE
DEVELOPERS HELP PAY THIS COST!
Don't let a few "sqeeky wheels" stop such a well thought out project. you approved
all the work at Linder, this is a mile away and will be developed soon anyway.
GET IT DONE!
