Message Due to the current size of Meridian it would be such a great addition to have Costco in
Meridian. It would be such a positive to not have to travel to Boise to enjoy the
benefits of Costco. Costco doesn't open until 10:00 am well past the commuter
morning traffic. Most households wouldn't shop at Costco during dinner hours, since
they would be at home cooking for their family. It is surprising that the city council is
concerned about increased traffic. When the city council has continued to support
urban sp rawl in housing developments and apartments buildings when Meridian roads
can't absorb it ,so the traffic from Costco is incidental at the best. Costco proposes to
widen the roads in the projected area. This is a win win for Meridian residents and the
city of Meridian.
Please bring Costco to Meridian.
