Subject Costco project site-chinden & ten mile
Message I am in favor of the project. The addition to the neighborhood will be a benefit to all
the surrounding areas and will compliment the existing establishments and create a
competitive atmosphere. Residential and commercial entities are progressively being
developed north/west of meridian Costco will thus be central location for future
construction. In addition Costco is willing to improve the roads to accommodate
addition traffic ($$$). Meridian will Benefit with additional revenue and employment
which in turn brings quality business like possibly Home Depot. It's a win win for all.
I hope planning commission approved this project. Existing Costco's (Boise/Nampa)
are some distance and are inconvenient and difficult to enter and exit facilities and are
overcrowded with customers on a regular basis. The addition of Meridian Costco will
alleviate these issues.
