Subject Costco in Meridian
Message I am in support of Costco developing at their proposed location in Meridian - ten
mile/chinden. I feel that Costco is a very stable company and treats their employees
well. Their hours of operation are conducive to a neighborhood setting. Since they
close early (not open 24 hours or until 11:00 PM) and are closed on holidays - there
would be no disruptive loading and unloading of freight trucks. The traffic would be
light in the early evenings on weekends and throughout the week. Also it is very
comforting that Costco is willing to widen chinden and 10 mile road. I believe that a
Costco will increase property values - not decrease them. They have proved that they
are 'A Good Neighbor'.
