Message We are residents of the Spurwing Subdivision and are strongly opposed to the plan for
Costco to locate a store on the southwest corner of the Ten Mile Road and Chinden
Blvd intersection. There is already a significant traffic problem on Chinden at that
intersection stemming from the significant amount of housing and commercial
development in the area as well as the fact that Ten Mile Road has become the
primary route from this area to the connector onto the Interstate. A much better
alternative would be near the intersection on Chinden Blvd with Highway 16. That
area has not been developed yet and could much more easily adapt to the traffic
flows. It would still provide Costco with the access they are seeking.
