Subject Costco in Meridian
Message I would greatly appreciate having a Costco located in the Meridian area. I understand
that they are looking at a plot of land at Ten Mile and Chinden. I believe the road
improvements made to that section of the road a lone are worth having Costco build
the re. Chinden is years behind in needed improvements. Also, the economy boost and
employment opportunities that Costco would bring is a huge benefit. I understand
there may be concerns by those living near that area. I too was worried when Kohl's
was first b eing built near my neighborhood. Now years later, I wonder why I was ever
worried. It has only been a blessing to our area to have that development. It has not
created any of the problems we originally thought would happen. I am in full support
of Costco building at Ten Mile and Chinden.
