Subject Proposed Costco site at Chinden/Ten Mile in Meridian
Message I would like to voice my approval of the proposed Costco site. I think it will be an
asset to our city, as well as the surrounding cities. I believe Costco is diligently
working with the communities that surround the proposed site to improve roads such
as Chinden which is way overdue for improvement. That area there is due to be
annexed to the City of Meridian as our population grows, why not annex it for a
Costco. If Costco doesn't go in there another business will. At least Costco has the
means to make improvements. Highway 16, Ten Mile, and Chinden are major
thoroughfares. Major thoroughfares attract major businesses...at least that seems to be
the pattern. Thank you for your diligence in making Meridian a great place to live!
