Message Count me as a Meridian resident in favor of Costco going in at Chinden and Ten
Mile. They are willing to make the necessary road improvements and if it isn't them,
it will be someone else who may not have the wherewithal to follow through. Plus
this addition adds one more reason for Meridian to be "One of the Top places to Live
in the US".
So while you are at it, make Meridian a better place by making Lakeview Golf Course
a great asset for this wonderful city. That means getting rid of Erik Oass (sp) and his
sidekick. This could be a great golf course but will always be mediocre at best with
Erik in charge. I don't know what businesses he has been successful at but a golf
course certainly is not one of them. I'm not sure why this city has declined to take
any measures on this issue, given that the City of Meridian has done a great job of
growing this city. And please don't go into how you can't step in unless Mr. Oass is
out on compliance on his lease. He's been out of compliance pretty much every day
since he got involved after Dick Davis left. As an area home owner I am disappointed
over and over by the management there and the City's unwillingness to address this
issue.
