Subject Costco project proposal at Chinden Blvd. and Ten Mile Road
Message My husband and I are in complete support of construction of the proposed Costco
store at the corner of Chinden Blvd. and Ten Mile Road. While we don't live in that
neighborhood, we do live much closer to the proposed location than Costco's other
two stores in the Treasure Valley. While I understand some of the concerns, I think
we all realize that there is eventually going to be some kind of business on that site.
Costco is willing to widen and improve the roads in that vicinity, which would most
likely not be done by anyone else. Costco is a great business and will be a
community-minded neighbor. Also, with the constant growth of Meridian, which
continues to be encouraged, another Costco will certainly be kept quite busy and will
be a wonderful addition to the area.
