Hey there,
Someone just submitted your form on meridiancity.org. Here's what they had to say:

Subject Costco project
Message I want to go on record of vehemently opposing the Costco development program
slated for 10 Mile Road and Chinden. The infrastructure to accommodate the traffic
associated with a project of this size should have been in place PRIOR to the
consideration of this matter rather than an afterthought. In addition there are zoning
issues which are not compliant with this game plan and I can only imagine the
increase in crime and safety threats to the residents of the adjacent subdivisions. I
know from past experience in CA that once a Costco was built 1 mile from our home
we could no longer leave garage doors open while working in the yard because of
thefts. Our children could no long play in their own front yards or ride bicycles on
the streets because of increased traffic trying to find alternate routes to Costco to
avoid the traffic - and that infrastructure was considerably better than what we have
here. Please reconsider and relocate the Costco to a commercial property and keep
out residential neighborhood just that - residential.
Thank you,
Karen Stagg
