Subject Strong support for Meridian CostCo
Message I'm unable to attend the March 1st planning meeting, but I wanted to voice my
enthusiastic support for the proposed Meridian Costco location. Having lived in
Meridian for nearly a decade, one of the persistent frustrations we've had is feeling
the need to "commute" to Boise or Nampa for retailers we don't have. This is
especially true for those of us in northern Meridian, with the lack of nearby retailers
combined with the unpleasant congestion of Eagle Road. Thus, I was very excited for
the Chinden/Linder developments and overjoyed when I heard Costco would be
coming to Ten Mile. I'm sure your planning meetings have been largely attended by
those who vocally oppose the project, which is why I wanted to drop in my two
cents. I have no doubt that the vast majority of Meridian's citizens are eagerly
anticipating the new Costco. Thanks for all you do for Meridian!
