Subject Proposed Meridian Costco location and associated road improvements
Message I just wanted to voice my support for the proposed Meridian Costco location and
associated road improvement projects. The current Costco locations are very
inconvenient to any living in the Meridian, Star, and Eagle areas, and subsequently
require substantial drive time. Not only will a new location bring hundreds of jobs,
which are so needed in our growing community, but it will also reduce traffic and
congestion by redirecting traffic flow to less used areas. The proposed road
improvements will also go a long way to alleviate congestion on Chinden road
(speaking of which, I would also like to add my voice to the many others in favor of
widening Chinden from Eagle road to Meridian road). Our community is growing
rapidly and some major changes need to be pursued if we are to be successful in the
future. Thank you for your consideration.
