Hey there,
Someone just submitted your form on meridiancity.org. Here's what they had to say:
2
Request for Mayor and Council
Name Kim Miles
_replyto kim.miles@mail.com
Street Address 2099 W Marten Creek Ct
City Meridian
State ID
Zip Code 83646
Subject Costco
Message While I understand the desire of some local residents near the proposed building site
to block development, I am puzzled as to why those feeling this way choose to build
or buy a home near mJor crossroads? Did anyone actually believe that major
development would not occur at both Chinden intersections at both Ten Miles and
Linder? The majority of local residents want both the Linder Village/Winco And
Costco projects to proceed without further delay. These services will be a valuable
asset to the local community, providing jobs, tax dollars, and increasing the
desirability of our neighborhoods. Idaho is the fastest growing state in the nation, with
the Treasure Valley attracting the bulk of those moving here. Traffic is going to
increase as well as needs for local services. That’s just a fact of life. All of the upset is
not going to change this. However, if we are proactive we can a well-planned
community. With the increased traffic in the future, we can expect drive times to our
current shopping choices to significantly increase. It only makes sense to place these
developments near housing areas. Please accept the proposed projects without further
delay.
