Subject Costco Hearing
Message My wife and I have been members of Costco since its beginning. Currently I shop at
the Nampa store. Since I am a caregiver for my wife, time is precious in terms of
shopping. Having a Costco store closer would be advantageous for us in our later
years. Some people have been fussing about the noise. I would think that the noise is
already there since Chinden is such a heavily travelled road by both cars and trucks
(it's a State route after all). It's going to be widened whether Costco is there or not,
which means there will be more noise. Costco is an asset to the community, is civic
minded, and environmentally concerned. Our vote is for Costco.
