Colonel Larry Leach 02-271 Christopher Johnson From:Larry Leach <superspud@cableone.net> Sent:Wednesday, February 28, 2018 12:18 PM To:Christopher Johnson Subject:Re: Harper Ridge Subdivision Christopher, my e-mail was incomplete on the parking issue. I failed to include my thought that the average household has a least 2 automobiles, therefore consuming all the provided parking just for tenants occupying the subdivision. Please include this in my previous comments. Thank you. Due to travel plans next week I will be unable to attend. I have the following concerns about the proposal. First and foremost is the parking issue. With 124 units planned and 248 parking spaces provided there is zero parking for visitors, service vehicles or other transient vehicles. Per plans no parking will be allowed on Copper Point on the North side of the development. Secondly the location puts all traffic on existing roads to depart the area, Copperpoint, which in and of itself sounds okay and complies with ACHD requirements but does not take into account the traffic from an adjoining subdivision MOVADO immediately to the East which is underway with will have over 700 residences and one exit onto Overland to the north, and the balance to the west into Silverstone on either Copperpoint or E Pewter Falls. Each subdivision may separately meet ACHD traffic requirements, but the combination will be deadly. Thank you for the opportunity to comment. > > Larry Leach Col USAF Retired 2 > 2491 S Jeblar Way > Meridian, Idaho 83642 > 208 890-1402 > > > > Sent from my iPad 1 Christopher Johnson From:Larry Leach <superspud@cableone.net> Sent:Tuesday, February 27, 2018 8:11 PM To:City Clerk Subject:Harper Ridge Subdivision I attended the hearing tonight concerning the above Subdivision which has now been delayed another week.
