Subject Proposed Costco
Message Hello,
Although I cannot attend the March 1st Planning and Zoning meeting regarding the
proposed Costco at 10 Mile and Chinden Blvd I would like to express my opinion on
the subject.
I believe Costco will be a good business to have located in Meridian and that the
proposed sight is perfect for this use. The detractors who do not want to allow a
Costco to be built on that land are being short sighted at best. They had to know
when they purchased their homes that the corner of 10 mile and Chinden Blvd, aka
HIGHWAY 20/26, would eventually be utilized as a commercial site. Costco does
not open early and is not open late and keeps their grounds extremely clean. I can
think of a lot worse situations to have than a Costco for a neighbor.
Personally I would be more concerned with the proposed apartments nearby than I
would Costco.
Thank you for allowing me to express my opinion. I hope you will approve the
proposed Costco as it will be a good thing for our community.
