Message Dear Mayor de Weerd, Council Members, and Planning and Zoning Commission
Members,
We, long time members of our city, would like to encourage you to pass the proposed
Costco development plan on the mixed use land area on the corner of Chinden Blvd.
and 10 Mile Rd. We understand that Costco will also pay for widening and
improving a portion of both Ten Mile Rd and Chinden Blvd to facilitate more traffic
in that area.
There are many of us who travel to Boise's Costco that would appreciate a site closer
to our own homes and neighborhoods.
We feel that this new development is a win/win for both the citizens as well as the
City of Meridian.
Thank you for listening to your local residents as well as encouraging commercial
growth in other areas rather than just the Eagle Road corridor.
