Subject Support for Costco
Message I am not going to be able to be present on March 1st to make any statement about the
proposal for Costco to be built at the corner of Chinden and Ten mile. We live right
off of Ten mile by Hero's park and we would love to have the Costco located at the
pro posed location. We regularly commute to Nampa as the most accessible Costco for
us, and this would be a great benefit for myself and my family as well as for tax
income for Meridian. We also look forward to it being part of opening up Chinden to
be four lanes as it is a parking lot most mornings for the commute to work. I am
aware there has been some negative disposition towards Costco building, but I think
the majority of the area is excited about Costco. When I moved into my neighborhood
3 years ago I was immediately told by neighbors that Costco was coming and have
since had many conversations with people who were excited for it to arrive.
