Message I would like to just make you aware my wife(Amy) and myself are fully in favor of
the building of Costco in its current proposed location. The project should help
ACHD speed up the much needed widening project in the location which has been
needed for years. Please do not give into the neighborhood because of the wealth in
the area like Boise does to the North End. When you buy a home next to a open field
you do not get to choose what is built in that field unless you own it. In the last year
the fields near our home was approved for multifamily housing, we did not contest
this what so ever because it is not our choice what is built on empty land near our
home. Costco will bring many jobs to Meridian and it will bring additional people to
Meridian to spend at local businesses. I'm sure the majority of the people at the
meeting will be angry home owners in the area but I know that the majority of the city
is in favor.
