Message Please seriously consider approving the new proposed location for Costco at Black
Cat and Chinden. This location provides easy access from the Ten Mile interchange
as well as for families from surrounding areas beyond Meridian, such as Emmett,
Star, and Eastern Oregon residents can enjoy easy access at this location. I appreciate
the proposal for a Chinden widening project and additional traffic lights. I agree they
will be necessary to keep the traffic flowing. I've come to consider road construction,
a normal part of our growing pains for Meridian. Costco is a thriving, well respected
company, known to provide living wage employment and additional revenue to thier
communities. This location seems well planned and will make a great addition to
Meridian. As a resident, my family welcomes Costco and believes this location is
ideal.
