Subject Proposed Costco store on 10 Mile & Chinden
Message I received a letter from Costco regarding meeting of the P & Z commission on
March 1, 2018. I live in Tiburon Meadows, a small subdivision off 10 Mile Rd.
(41 homes) and am the HOA president. The letter from Costco asked for feedback
from neighborhoods in the area close to the proposed new store. I did a survey
in our neighborhood and found overwhelming support for a Costco store at the
proposed site. Most everyone I talked with are excited about a Costco within a
short drive. Most of our residents are seniors and driving to Nampa or into Boise
can be very taxing. Considering this and the improvements to Ten Mile and Chinden
planned, it seems to me this should be a no-brainer. I will be out of town
March 1st and unable to attend the meeting but would like the commission
