Message As a resident if Meridian for over 20 years I want to voice my STRONG support of
Costco finally coming to Meridian. It is a long overdue and very welcome addition to
our city. I am especially happy and supportive of the proposed location, as it will be
much,much closer to my address off of Ten Mile road. As a senior adult, I am so very
tired of having to commute to Boise or Nampa just to shop at Costco. I am also
happy to have the tremendous business boost and tax support Costco will provide for
the children in our school district through the tax support and jobs it will bring to our
school district. Finally, the further extension and needed road improvements that will
be begin on Chinden and Ten Mile are good reason to approve this site for building to
begin ASAP RIGHT WHERE IT IS PROPOSED!
I am very tired of having to wait and delay approval of well planned, responsible and
outstanding companies that are FINALLY trying to give the vast majority of Meridian
residents what they have been waiting for and definitely want for so long, because of
a particular group of citizens in a few subdivisions objections.
Please do not put this off! I am speaking for my entire extended family of 20+
citizens who live off Ten Mile road when I say we want this
APPROVED! QUICKLY! And while you're at it...let's get going with getting
WinCo approved off Linder! We are trying to be patient, but it's time!
