I live in Spurwing Greens and believe the addition of a Costco in Meridian at this location would be a benefit to the community. I understand in order for this to happen a rezoning would need to take place. While the current zoning is not set for a Costc o because of the comprehensive plan, the continued growth of our community needs to be taken into account when thinking of the future. This change is similar to when school boundaries need to be redraw because of growth. This change is not seen by many to be beneficial because change to many is a hardship and people are settled where they want for many reasons, but change is a necessary part of growth. I was very appreciative of the flyer that Costco sent out explaining why the location is needed, the useful diagram, and information on how they will be helping to widen parts of Ten Mile and Chinden. Without Costco, these road improvements will not be implemented for many years to come and they are needed now. I would respectably ask that you consider ch anging the zoning to allow Costco at the Ten Mile and Chinden intersection. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Anne Wilson
