Subject I support the proposed Costco and WinCo projects on Chinden
Message I just want to write to express my endorsement of the applications that will allow
Costco and Winco to build at Chinden/Ten Mile and Chinden/Linder, respectfully.
I tire of hearing about vocal opponents of these projects who want to preserve an open
field in the space near their home forever. People who move into the heart of a
quickly growing suburb like Meridian have to understand that they live in an area
where development will continue (for everyone's sake). We drastically need more
grocery options, particularly less expensive grocery options like Costco and WinCo,
in this part of Meridian to reduce road congestion and provide convenient shopping
options for Meridian residents.
Please approve these projects for the benefit of our city and all of its residents.
