Message I don't see any significant negative impact with the construction of a Costco on the
corner of Ten Mile and Chinden on current or future residents. Currently, there are no
homes immediately adjacent to the property. As houses are built in the area, they will
have a choice to buy or not buy knowing there's a Costco or plans to build a Costco in
that location. I could see some issues if Costco was planning to build next to pre-
existing homes. That is not the case here with the exception of the property across the
street on Chinden. I can certainly understand the concern of that property
owner. Seems to be another example of the "not in my backyard" perspective. To be
clear, I would be in favor of a Costco being built on the proposed site.
