Subject Costco - Ten Mile-Chinden
Message I'm in favor of a Costco store on the corner of Ten Mile and Chinden since I shop at
Costco frequently. When I shop the Nampa Costco store, I will at times shop at
Kohl's, Michaels, Target, Best Buy and some of the smaller stores. I'd much rather
have a Costco store on that location then a pawn shop, another storage facility, liquor
store, fast food restaurant or another group of apartment buildings and the constant
traffic day and night that apartments brings to a neighborhood saying nothing about
the type of people in some apartment complexes. Meridian is large enough to support
a Costco when you include Star, Eagle, West Boise, Kuna and surrounding
areas. That corner could also support a Tractor Supply Store, which is very nice or a
Ace Hardware as the west side of Meridian lacks in a good utility store.
