Message Please consider the big picture and the increased growth of Meridian and support the
new Costco location. I understand those that live closest to the proposed location are
not ecstatic, but the thing is, regardless of where it is put, there will be people who
object. That doesn't make it unnecessary. I'm 20 minutes from either Costco and
would love to have a closer option. I also believe that it will put more money into
other Meridian businesses as well. When I go run my shopping errands, I make other
stops at smaller grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Instead of giving my resources to
Nampa and Boise businesses, the local Fred Meyer, Walmart, and plethora of new
food options could be receiving my business just because of proximity to the new
Costco location. Keep money in Meridian by allowing this growing community to
have access to the businesses that meet the needs of our families, specifically Costco!
