Dear City of Meridian
I’m a resident of Meridian. I live at 3808 w magic spruce dr 83646 in the spurwing green neighborhood. I’m writing to
voice my objection to the rezoning of the land on the corner of 10 mile and Chinden. This land was part of Meridian
comprehensive plan. It is zoned low and medium density residential. We bought our home 5 years ago knowing the
purpose of the land was not intended for commercial retail. This is a slap in the face to the homeowners who have been
mislead by the city of Meridian. This is gross negligence on your part. Our taxes went to pay for a comprehensive plan
that was approved by the City council. It appears that this plan changes when a corporation waves the dollar bills in the
form of road improvements in city council members faces. I’m appalled. Do not allow the Costco development to go
through. This is zoned residential. Keep it residential.
Best regards
Karen Dawson
